BSc, BSc(Med), MD (Canada), CCFP, FRNZCGP, AALM
Dr Carolyn Bulman is a GP with a special interest in menopause, lifestyle medicine, and metabolic health. She's passionate about helping women optimise their health through evidence-based medicine, while recognising that nutrition, movement, sleep, stress management, and everyday habits all play a real role in long-term wellbeing. Originally trained in Canada, Carolyn has practised across a range of primary care settings in both Canada and New Zealand, and holds her FRNZCGP. She's gone on to complete further training in Lifestyle Medicine, earning her diploma through the Australasian Academy of Lifestyle Medicine. Carolyn loves supporting women through the changes of menopause, with a particular interest in metabolic health, insulin resistance, and weight management — including the thoughtful use of GLP-1 medications as part of a sustainable, whole-person approach to health. She also brings experience supporting adults with ADHD, and understands the unique ways hormonal change and mental wellbeing can intersect during midlife. Outside of medicine, Carolyn lives in the Queenstown area, where she loves hiking, snowboarding, and spending time outdoors with her family.
