Menopause Doctor

MB BS (London), FRNZCGP, BA (Hons) Psychology, DRCOG, MSCP

Bio

Linda completed her medical studies at University College London (UCL), earning her MB BS, before spending four years working in UK hospitals. She then relocated to New Zealand to complete her General Practice training, going on to gain her Fellowship with the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (FRNZCGP). Alongside this, she holds a BA (Hons) in Psychology, a Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRCOG), and is a Member of the Society of Clinical Psychologists (MSCP). It was Linda's own experience of perimenopause, following the birth of her second child, that changed the direction of her career. The confusion and difficulty of that time led her to a simple but powerful question: "If a doctor could struggle to recognise perimenopause in her own life, how many other women and families were going through the same thing?" That question is what led Linda and her husband Dan to found Menodoctor — built on the belief that women deserve clear answers and real support through this life stage, not confusion. Today, Linda is a Certified Menopause Practitioner and a member of The Menopause Society, and leads clinical direction at Menodoctor — training the medical team and overseeing the practitioners who care for patients every day, drawing on her own deep interest in women's health and the perimenopause and menopause transition in particular. Outside of medicine, Linda is a qualified yoga teacher and a former gymnast who represented Great Britain, winning a Commonwealth Games bronze medal — a background that still shapes her belief in the value of movement, discipline, and looking after the whole self.
