MB ChB (Otago), FRNZCGP, MSCP
Emily was born and bred in the Bay of Plenty, growing up in Taupō before moving to Tauranga three years ago with her husband and young family. She graduated from Otago Medical School in 2009 (MBChB) and has since worked across Aotearoa, most notably at Rotorua Hospital — including time in the O&G department — where she also completed her RACP Diploma in Child Health. Emily is now a Specialist GP, having gained her Fellowship with the RNZCGP in Wellington in 2017, and brings a decade of experience seeing a high volume of women's health presentations through her GP work. That breadth of experience has shaped Emily's holistic approach to women's health — one focused on optimising each woman's wellbeing and encouraging sustainable, lasting lifestyle change. "I'm thrilled to have the consultation time to focus on each individual woman's needs, listen to their unique stories, and share my knowledge of lifestyle and nutritional health alongside the growing range of options now available to women in their menopause season. Helping women feel like themselves again is exciting and inspiring." Between raising three growing children, Emily enjoys playing the harp, pilates, mountain biking, and getting out into nature — especially the bush and snowy mountains.
