Dr Laurice Magdalani
MBBS (Kings), MRCGP, DRCOG, MSCP
aurice is originally from London and completed her medical degree at King’s in 2014 (MBBS). She is passionate about travel and took opportunities to work internationally during her training. After completing her GP training in Manchester (MRCGP), she moved to New Zealand and is currently working in General Practice in Nelson.
Laurice is passionate about Women’s health and gained a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DRCOG), and a Diploma in the Faculty of Reproductive and Sexual Health (DFRSH). Laurice takes an empathetic and holistic approach to practice with a focus on listening to the specific concerns of individual patients to help to tailor treatment to their needs. She believes that the menopause is a unique time in a woman’s life and it is essential to give women evidence based information to inform their decision making about menopause care and future health. She is also a qualified Menopause Society Certified Practitioner and member with the Menopause Society. She has also completed Louise Newton’s Confidence in Menopause course and continues to take opportunities to further her knowledge in this area.
Outside of work, Laurice enjoys exploring New Zealand by foot, bike or kayak with her partner and is continuing to search for the best sauvignon blanc!
